Franklin

Historic roots. New chapters.

There's a reason Franklin draws people in. Historic streets and rolling countryside live alongside new neighborhoods, great restaurants, local shops and a community that continues to grow without completely losing sight of what made it special in the first place.

My Franklin Perspective

Franklin became my friend.

When we moved here from another state, I didn't really know anyone. So I explored.

I found my coffee shops, walked the trails, wandered Main Street, tried the restaurants and slowly learned the rhythms of this place. I watched Franklin grow and change, while discovering the things that somehow continue to make it feel like a small town.

Somewhere along the way, Franklin stopped feeling like the town we had moved to and started feeling like home.

Maybe that's part of why I love introducing other people to it now.

Finding Your Franklin

Franklin isn't one lifestyle.

That's one of the first things I want buyers to understand.

You can live close enough to walk to Main Street, choose a neighborhood where sidewalks, amenities and neighbors are part of everyday life, settle into an established area with mature trees, build something new, or head toward the countryside where a little more land and privacy change the picture completely.

The address may say Franklin. How you live here can feel very different.

01

Close to Downtown

Character + Walkability

For buyers drawn to historic architecture, tree-lined streets and the idea of walking into downtown for dinner or coffee, the neighborhoods surrounding Main Street offer an experience that's hard to replicate. Homes range from historic properties to beautifully designed infill and newer construction woven into established streets.

02

West + Connected

Westhaven + Beyond

West Franklin offers its own rhythm. Westhaven is one of the area's best-known master-planned communities, with neighborhood amenities, shops, restaurants and an active community woven into everyday life. Continue farther west and the landscape gradually begins to open toward some of Franklin's most beautiful countryside.

03

South + Growing

Berry Farms + South Franklin

South Franklin has become an important part of the city's growth story. Berry Farms blends residential living with restaurants, businesses and everyday conveniences, while continued development toward Thompson's Station creates more choices for buyers who want newer homes and easy access to both Franklin and I-65.

04

Established + Rooted

The Franklin People Sometimes Miss

Some of my favorite Franklin searches aren't centered around a famous neighborhood name at all. They're the established streets and communities with mature landscaping, larger lots in certain pockets and homes that have evolved over time. For the right buyer, these areas can offer a combination of location, character and space that's increasingly difficult to reproduce.

05

New + Refined

New Construction + Luxury

Franklin continues to add thoughtfully designed new communities, custom homes and luxury infill. The experience can range from a new neighborhood with amenities to a one-of-a-kind home tucked into an established part of town. Knowing what's being built, where growth is happening and how a location may evolve matters just as much as the finishes inside the house.

06

Countryside + Land

A Little More Tennessee

Drive away from the center of Franklin and the landscape changes quickly. Rolling hills, acreage, horse properties, winding roads and the countryside toward Leiper's Fork offer another version of Franklin entirely.

For some buyers, this is the Tennessee they were picturing all along.

The Rhythm of Franklin

Franklin knows how to show up.

One of the things I love about Franklin is how often the town gives us a reason to come together.

Spring brings Main Street Festival. Fall means PumpkinFest and downtown filled with costumes, music and families. And Christmas in Franklin has a personality all its own, from the tree lighting on the Square and the Christmas Parade to Dickens of a Christmas filling the streets with carolers, characters and traditions that have become part of the season here.

Add concerts, markets, songwriter nights and smaller events throughout the year, and there's a rhythm to living here that goes well beyond where you buy a house.

I still check the calendar. There's usually something worth showing up for.

The Franklin I Know

Tell me how you want to live.

When someone tells me they want to live in Franklin, that's really just the beginning.

Do you want to walk somewhere for coffee? Do you picture kids riding bikes through the neighborhood? Do you want an acre between you and your neighbor? Are you drawn to new construction, or does an older home with character feel more like you? Is interstate access important? Would you rather have restaurants around the corner or countryside outside your window?

Those details don't always show up in a property search.

They're the part I get to help you figure out.
